Coalesce filter cartridge is made from multiple compound material by special process, with its hydrophilicity property, not only does it can remove mechanical admixtures in liquid, but also it can separate water in emulsification from liquid by demulsification and coalescence, and coalescent to a larger drop water in order to further purification of liquid.
Filtration Principle
Oil, water and other liquids, captured by ultra-fine fibers inside that form tortuous passageway to airflow, force solid particles and liquid droplets captured by ultra-fine fiber under filtering mechanism of inertial impaction, diffusion interception and direct interception, surface tension of liquid make it coalescent to bigger droplets, it deposit to container bottom under gravity.
Glass fiber coalesce filter cartridge adopts high density progressive glass fiber to make, designed into integrity single tube structure so as to reduce brokerage and leaking, the surface of filter cartridge is treated by hydrophobicity and oleophobicity, which can meet various filter rating demand.
It is normally to adopt artificial polyester fiber to make coalesce filter cartridge, which is compatible to various liquids, it is made from multi-layers by rolling in helical structure, and each layer adopt fibers with different performance to control its form, size, thickness and density, etc. to reach expected filter rating.
Coalesce filter cartridge mainly selects surface-treated glass fiber and polyester fiber as coalescing materials, its structure has excellent coalescing performance after being designed specially, the filter rating can reach as low as 0.1 micron meter.
