Corundum ceramic gas sampling filter customized by 3F Filtration mainly installed in the high-heat gas sampling probe and line on Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS).

Why a gas sampling filter is essential for CEMS?

The gases emitted from many factories, especially many chemical, pharmaceutical factories, are harmful or even poisonous to human being and atmospheric environment, these gases include: SO2, NOX, CO, etc. Monitoring and collecting these harmful gases in quantity and types is helpful to after-purification processing. But these gases are usually in high pressure, high temperature, strong acid and base condition, that’s why a proper type of gas sampling filter is critical otherwise the filter will need to be changed always, or even can not meet working condition reqirement.

Why corundum ceramic is an ideal filter media?

All our gas sampling filter element is made from corundum sands sintered under 1600-1900℃ to form microporous corundum ceramic.
Corundum sand is a material processed from natural mineral corundum, the main component is aluminum oxide (Al2O3), through 3F’s specialized production processing, we are able to precisely control the micropore size (filtration accuracy), but do not change the property of the material.
The sintered corundum ceramic filter media is able to meet the vast majority of application scenarios, whatever in temperature or pressure, or chemical compatibility.
