Sintered 10 inch coconut shell activated carbon CTO filter for household water treatment

Coconut shell activated carbon filter (CTO filter) made from 3F Filtration use carbons imported from Indonesia and Philippines, strictly select carbons which made from coconut shell. In addition to our advanced sintering furnace imported from South Korea, to make CTO filters with the best absorbing capability and the fastest flow rate.
Depending on quality CTO filter supplied to global markets, 3F’s CTO water filter was authorized with NSF certification in 2017.

What does CTO remove?

Usually we call the filter cartridge as CTO water filter, but there are rarely guys know what is CTO filter and why we should use CTO filter in our daily drinking water purification.

CTO short for Chlorine, Taste and Odor.

Actually, activated carbon filter cartridge not only remove chlorine, taste and odor in home water treatment field, the CTO filter cartridge can also be recommended for removing color. In some ink manufacturing process, alcohol fields.
Although CTO water filter can remove chlorine and odor, it is not be able to cope with bacteria or some particles drinking water might contain. It is due to activated carbon structure properties. (RO system are recommended for removing bacteria, germs and particles in drinking water.)
