5-10 micron NSF certified coconut shell carbon filter block – 3F Customization
Coconut Shell Activated Carbon Filter Block is a premium filtration solution designed for household water purification. Utilizing high-quality activated carbon sintered from coconut shells, this product effectively improves water quality by adsorbing impurities, chlorine, and organic contaminants. Its microporous structure enhances adsorption capacity, significantly reducing smelly odors and tastes to deliver cleaner, better-tasting drinking water. Available in standard 10-inch and 20-inch sizes, the carbon block is compatible with most under-sink and countertop filtration systems, offering flexibility for various installation needs. Certified by NSF, it ensures reliable performance in reducing harmful substances while maintaining essential minerals, making it a safe and efficient option in household water treatment.
Manufactured through a high-temperature sintering process, the carbon filter block achieves a tightly bonded structure that prevents carbon fines leakage meanwhile accurately control its removal rating. The filter media material, sourced from sustainably harvested coconut shells in the Philippines and Indonesia, are well-known for its natural porosity and adsorption capability. This eco-friendly production method ensures optimal contact time between water and activated carbon, maximizing contaminant removal efficiency. Ideal for improving tap water safety and water taste, this NSF-certified carbon filter block combines advanced technology with natural materials to meet high quality drinking-water requirements.

Application
These coconut carbon blocks, normally wrapped in non-woven fabrics and equipped with two-end gaskets, usually it is used for household drinking water filtration, and it is often found at the 3rd stage in pre filters, pipeline water dispensers. Since its excellent adsorbing performance, it can also be used for:
- Color adsorption for some industrial use, e.g.: printing and dyeing mill
- De-gradation of formaldehyde in the air
- Used in some air cleaner and ventilation system as terminal air filter
