Corundum ceramic air sampling filter made by 3F Filtration mainly installed in the air sampling probe and line on continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS).
Why we should use filters made from corundum sands (main component: a-Al2O3)? That because airs or gases monitored by CEMS are usually in extremely high temperature, strong acid and alkaline, such as: SO2, NOX, CO, etc. All these gases emitted from industrial factory stack are poisonous to human being meanwhile would be harmful to atmospheric environment.
Corundum ceramic filter sintered from natural corundum sands under 1600-1900℃. it can resist to high temperature as high as 800-1000℃, meanwhile corundum ceramic itself has character of strong acid and base resistance, moreover, the ceramic filtering block formed after high temperature sintering process can also withstand extremely high pressure. That is why this type of filter become an ideal filtering element used for CEMS.
